Here in this review, our customer Dan Solway hits the nail right on the head when it comes to finding the right saddle for his bike. We are all different and riding with the best saddle for you will keep you out enjoying the trails for longer. Here, Dan breaks down his WTB Volt Team saddle. He liked this one so much, he decided to get another for his second bike. Check it out!
WTB has done an awesome job with the Volt. This saddle comes in 3 different sizes and at several different price points so you can find the right fit for your budget. The difference in price corresponds mainly to the materials used and subsequently weight. The more expensive models are going to weigh less and use carbon and titanium in their construction. It’s important to remember that comfort doesn’t increase with price so find the size that fits rather than buying the most expensive model you can find.
The model I chose was the Team. This model uses titanium rails and is the second lightest in the line coming in slightly heavier than the carbon version. The all black look is sleek and matches just about any color scheme on a bike. I’ve used it for a couple months now and have nothing but good things to say. I’ve liked it so much that I bought another one for my second bike. The Volt is firm enough to pedal efficiently yet has enough padding to keep you feeling good on the longest and roughest of rides. Compared to my old saddles that didn’t fit me right, the Volt has definitely increased my enjoyment and made me want to ride even more.
