Here are your Trending Products for the month of February. These are the products our customers choose the most. The most popular products that we see going out in orders every day, so we know you guys are not only looking at these out of curiosity but also needing or wanting them as well. Below you will find popular products like disc brake pads, hex wrenches, suspension dampers, and wheelsets. Go ahead and read on to see what was popular this month, or done and go ride your bike and read this after, or whatever.
These SRAM disc brake pads are a great replacement for your current SRAM Code or Guide RE brakes. With a sintered compound these are actually what comes stock in the Code and Guide RE brakes, and are great for all conditions of riding, especially this time of year. The sintered compound is much better for wet and slimy conditions than organic compounds are. Don’t let your pads get too low and start to wear on your rotors, grab a set of these SRAM brake pads for your Code or Guide RE brakes and keep them feeling fresh.
These new hex wrenches from Park Tool have been a very popular product since they first came out a few months ago. The Park Tool THH-1 Sliding T-Handles have some really cool new features that I think all bike mechanics will really appreciate. To start, the eight most common sized T-handles slide to create a T or an L in either direction. This helps create tons of leverage or less depending on the bolt you are working on. Another really cool feature is the sliding sleeve in the middle. This helps drive bolts in and out fast, tightening four of your stem bolts faster than ever. The last huge feature of these Park Tool T-handles is on one of the L sides there is a black tip, instead of silver like all the rest. That isn’t just for looks. The black tip is actually an easy-out for that size bolt head. No more stuck, stripped out bolts and fiddling with trying to find the right size easy-out with an awkward wrench. You get the leverage you need to remove stripped out bolts in a flash.
The eight common sizes include a 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm to use on any and all bolts on your mountain bike. Included is also a holder you can screw on to your tool wall or pegboard. I’ve been using these in my toolbox for a while now and these T-handles work as intended. Drive bolts faster and get the leverage you need for each situation. The new Park Tool THH-1 sliding T-handle hex set are a killer set of allen wrenches for any serious mountain biker that performs their own maintenance.
Do you have a Fox fork with a Grip or Grip2 damper? If you do and plan to perform your own seal service, then this is the fluid you will need. This time of year is a smart time to plan a suspension service. Once the weather starts to dry out and your bike is kinda trashed from the wet conditions, some fresh suspension seals and fresh oil will help freshen up that mountain bike from winter. The Fox 5wt oil is for the lower legs of the damper side in a Fox Grip damper or Fox Grip2 damper as well as inside those dampers as well. Give your mountain bike some love before those good spring conditions arrive and service your suspension with fresh 5wt oil and some fresh Fox Seals.
That Fox 5wt fluid above goes really well with this Fox Grip2 Damper for your Fox 36 fork. This damper is an amazing upgrade on a Fox 36 if you have one with a Fit4, Grip or the older RC2 damper. This upgrade damper fits Fox 36 forks from 2015 up to current forks. One of the amazing parts about this damper and why the upgrade is so awesome for your fork is you have both high speed and low-speed compression and rebound adjustment. This is an amazing way to tune in your fork, as many riders love being able to adjust high-speed compression and rebound to really dial in your fork’s feel. With so much adjustment you can also get it really wrong, so make sure you follow the Fox recommended settings or try out some easy bracketing on your fork. If you are looking for more tuning in your fork’s feel, I would highly recommend the Fox Grip 2 damper for your Fox 36 fork.
The last product for this month’s trending products is certainly not the least in performance. The Industry Nine Enduro S Hydra Wheelset is an amazing value for the quality of wheelset you get, with Hydra hubs, straight pull spokes and the 30.5mm wide rim. The Hydra hubs are really what make this wheelset so incredible with 690 points of engagement, which is only .52 degrees! That is pretty much instant engagement and makes for an amazing upgrade to most stock wheelsets. They're laced up with straight pull steel spokes to a rim that has an internal measurement of 30.5mm. That is ideal for tires from 2.3 to 2.6 wide. These are a similar build to the Industry 1/1 Enduro S wheelset that we love so much, but with the nicer Hydra hubs and straight-pull spokes. If you are looking for an upgrade on your stock wheels, check out the Industry Nine Enduro S Hydra Wheelset, you will not be disappointed.
