Fox Rear Shock 8mm x 21.8mm (0.860) and 8mm x 19.05mm (0.750) Mounting Hardware
I have a 2014 and 2015 GT Sensor Expert and this Fox Rear Shock Mounting Hardware Kit works perfect with no filing or grinding. If you have a GT Sensor these mounting kits are you need; the 8mm x 21.8mm (0.860) is for the front and the 8mm x 19.05mm (0.750) is for the rear. The Fox Rear Shock 8mm x 21.8mm (0.860) and 8mm x 19.05mm (0.750) Mounting Hardware will last about three years but it is cheaper to replace this hardware then your FOX shock or your bike frame. If you have a bike or brand that is different than the GT Sensor, just remove your rear shock and measure both ends because these kits come in many different sizes. The used Fox shock I bought on eBay came with an aluminum bushing which I could not find anywhere so knowing that Worldwide Cyclery carries a lot of parts, I got lucky and found them there.
If you are going to inspect or replace these bushings, the RockShox Rear Shock 1/2x1/2" Bushing Tool is worth every penny. This tool not only presses the eyelet bushing out but also installs the Fox Rear Shock Mounting Hardware. I know everybody looks at the Fox Rear Shock Mounting Hardware and thinks how hard could it be to install - it’s not hard to install but the plastic bushings and washers will break when trying with a hammer. If you buy a used or take off rear shock with the eyelet bushing still in the rear shock, this is the tool to remove these bushing a hammer will only destroy your rear shock.
