Who says an established canine can’t learn new tricks? Forbidden took the modern wolf in sheep’s clothing and gave it a brand-new bag of high-power, high-tech tricks. Introducing Druid E. The proportionally sized, full-power e-MTB lineup we’ve all been waiting for. Available in two styles: Druid LitE and Druid CorE. Both equipped with the revolutionary Avinox drive system. A 2.52 kg (5.5 lbs) package that delivers 105 Nm of max continuous torque (120 Nm on boost), 800 W peak power (1,000 W on boost), the ability to run 600 Wh or 800 Wh batteries, and the fastest charging available on the market. Finally, a proportionally sized e-MTB that effortlessly shuttles you to the top of any climb and delivers the class-defying descending prowess you know and love from Forbidden’s high-pivot Trifecta suspension platform. A bike you’ll actually love riding down as much as you do on the way up. The burly sibling to the Druid LitE comes equipped with 150 mm of rear and 160 mm of front travel. It’s 0.6 degrees slacker, uses an 800 watt-hour battery, and weighs in at just under 50 lbs.(49.8 lbs or 22.6kg). Druid CorE is available in 3 Build kits. Avinox Drive System Forbidden had plenty of time to get a lay of the land and test numerous motor systems, but ever since our first test ride of the Avinox, it was an absolute no-brainer for us. And it’s not only for the reasons you might first think. Yes, it’s fast. Yes, it’s the most powerful. But it’s when things get grim and technical that this motor really starts to shine. Thanks to its advanced hardware and software, it allows you to finesse each pedal stroke to ensure you're always getting traction. Combine that with Forbidden's low pedal kickback—thanks to the idler position—and you’ve got yourself a mountain goat of a bike that’ll have you climbing up the side of a house. Spec-wise, you’ve got 105 Nm of torque in a 2.5 kg package, a touchscreen display, intuitive controls, and a well-thought-out app. Customisations through the app are endless. From the information displayed on the screen to fine-tuning every aspect of each assist mode. And it doesn’t stop there. There’s even an option for fast charging: zero to 75% in just one and a half hours. Druid E features a 2-inch OLED full-colour Control Display as the interactive hub, enabling connectivity between the Avinox Drive Unit and your mobile device via the Avinox app. Tuneable assist modes, wireless handlebar controls, and an intuitive app set the Avinox system apart from the rest. Trifecta V3 Platform The latest iteration of our Trifecta platform elevates the spellbinding ride characteristics you expect from a Forbidden to a new level. We’ve fine-tuned the rearward axle path, idler position, and kinematics (the holy trinity of ride characteristics) to deliver the best e-MTB we’ve ever ridden. The new platform also gives us more seat post insertion and allows us to neatly package the motor and battery. AXS Extension Cord Compatible Druid E builds that are specced with AXS transmission come equipped with SRAM’s AXS Extension Cord. The SRAM AXS Extension Cord connects the AXS transmission to the bike’s battery, allowing you to power the drivetrain directly without the use of an AXS battery. Carbon Rocker Link The Trifecta V3 platform features a carbon rocker link. The carbon rocker link is light, stiff, reduces unsprung mass, isolates the shock from lateral forces, and gives the bike the right amount of progressivity. 8 x 30 mm bearing hardware, top and bottom, comes as standard on all shocks. Waterbottle Fitment Even our smallest Druid E frame size can fit a full-size 26oz water bottle, regardless of your rear shock reservoir. Remember, hydration is your friend, but sweaty backs most definitely are not. Forbidden Druid V2 The Forbidden Druid was the Canadians brands first entry into the full suspension mountain bike market, and it came with a wave and an immediate cult following with its high pivot witchcraft. Now on its second iteration, Forbidden has only improved the Druid V2 to make it the Ultimate trail bike. With geometry that effortlessly balances stability and agility, the Druid is a trail bike through and through. This bike is equally at home hammering out trail rides after work, ripping weekend shuttle laps, and crushing epic alpine traverses. This humble (on paper) trail bike boasts on-trail characteristics that don’t just punch above their class they defy classification altogether. A bike that delivers pedal-all-day efficiency when you want it and tech-descent-tackling confidence when you need it. A short travel trail bike by definition but a kilometer-crushing, chunder-devouring, fun machine by any other description. Druid V2 Frame Layout The second iteration of Druid see a shift to an inverted four-bar suspension design. This evolution was necessitated by our desire to retain the ride characteristics of the original Druid while achieving certain design goals. At the same time, we shed a little bit of weight from the main frame, whilst ensuring the bike still passes our rigorous testing regime. Hardware The bearing-in-rocker design of our new forged V2 Rate Control Linkage allows us to use locking collet axles and oversized bearings for easy maintenance and dependability. This option isn’t the lightest but trading a few grams for a long-lasting, easily serviced linkage, was the practical choice. Idler Pulley System Druid now sports an 18-tooth steel idler equipped with a solid lube bearing as standard. These changes, along with a refined tooth profile increase the idler’s longevity and ensure compatibility with the latest drivetrains. Our new idler, along with its modular mounting system is compatible and optimized for use with both 52mm and 55mm chain lines. Water Bottle Fitment Even our smallest Druid frame size can fit a full-size 26oz water bottle, regardless of your rear shock reservoir. Remember, hydration is your friend, but sweaty backs most definitely are not. Frame Protection A quiet bike is a fast bike and a clean bike is less prone to problems, so we developed a full suite of custom frame protection to keep the noisy bits quiet and the hard to clean bits free from crud. Cable Routing We don’t discriminate against rightys or leftys and our adaptable cable routing allows you to neatly route the Druid’s cables and hoses no matter where in the world you come from or with what hand you operate your rear brake with. New for V2 is the inclusion of clamping hose/cable ports on the rear triangle. This ensures no unwanted movement anywhere along the frame. Accessory Mount The ‘under the top tube’ mounting screws allow for the attachment of various accessory mounting solutions; pump, tools, a banana, the kitchen sink, go crazy, just don’t hang a water bottle there. Sensible Standards Threaded BB, Boost rear wheel spacing, press in headset cups – we only use what makes sense from a design and durability standpoint. **FRAME AND SHOCK ONLY** Forbidden Reya Meet Reya. A short travel trail bike done the Forbidden way. Proportional geo, predictable handling, and a penchant for serving a disproportionate dose of confidence. Up, down, cross country, or back country, this punchy little bike covers ground efficiently while retaining its ability to get rowdy and hang tough when the trail gets rough. This is suspension and geometry done right. This is not an XC bike with pumped-up travel. It is a bike built from the ground up to maximise fun and speed, especially on trails that don’t require the axle path of Druid. Geometrey Like all of our bikes, Reya uses our OneRide geometry philosophy. Genuinely proportional rear centres across the size range. Something you won’t find on any other short travel bike. The benefits are the same as on all our bikes: better weight distribution, balanced suspension feel, and consistent front-to-rear tire grip. Plus, you get the same intended trail characteristic across all sizes, regardless of rider stature or size. We’ve paired that with steeper seat tube angles on the larger sizes, keeping rider position centred and efficient when the trail points uphill. Reimagined Trifecta Kinematic At the heart of the bike is a reimagined TRIFECTA kinematic. We put less priority on the axle path and more on getting the right suspension characteristic for the intended trail and use case for this category. The goal was simple: squeeze every ounce of performance out of 120 millimetres of rear wheel travel, whether you’re climbing, sprinting, or pointing it downhill. No flex stays here. No compromised suspension characteristics. No loss of sensitivity. This is a proper linkage-driven bike. The leverage curve is progressive, and that’s for good reason. It gives consistent support through the travel, maximising how efficiently energy transfers from you through the bike and into the ground. That applies whether you’re pedalling or pumping into terrain. The advent of larger-volume air cans on shocks has enabled us to complement the progressivity of the linkage to deliver sensitivity and traction where it matters, without sacrificing bottom-out resistance. Pedal Kickback No idler. No problem. We fine-tuned chain feedback to give complementary behaviour across the gear range. A little more tension in the easier gears, less in the harder gears. The result is a bike that feels calm when you’re climbing and effortless on the way down. Pair that with a consistent 80% anti-rise, and you have a predictable, surefooted platform with no surprises when things get steep or rough. Anti-squat sits around 110% at sag in the climbing gears, which hits our desired sweet spot. It’s stable under power, but still active enough to track the ground on the techy stuff. As you move into harder gears, anti-squat increases, so when it’s time to stamp on the pedals, the bike resists diving into its travel, meaning more of your effort turns into forward motion. Finer Details Accessory mounts and room for a full-size bottle on all sizes. Just the one bottle, actually, and that’s intentional. We prioritised shock mount locations over two bottle cages. The shock is mounted off the bottom bracket area, which gives us a stiffer base and reduces torsional loads compared to top-tube mounted shocks. It also keeps the shock mass lower in the frame. No internal frame storage. That’s also intentional. It adds weight you can’t remove, unlike a strapped-on tube and tool or a pump on accessory mounts. And let’s be real, massive downtubes aren’t exactly doing anyone any favours aesthetically. Honestly, modern hydration packs are pretty good. Despite being light and lively, this thing is built to last. We’ve used a full complement of properly sized bearings. No undergunned hardware, no corners cut. It’s a durable package without the penalty you usually pay for durability. No headset routing. Instead, we use our versatile cable management system so you can run your brakes whichever way you want and even have a cable-actuated shock lockout if you wish. We’ve also included ISCG mounts for those nifty little chain guides. A 140 mm rear and 150 mm front travel setup, equipped with a 600 watt-hour battery, weighing in at just under 46 lbs (45.9 lbs or 20.8 kg). Druid LitE is available in 3 Build kits. Forbidden Dreadnought V2 Dreadnought forged a new path for performance high pivot bikes and cemented the platform's category-defying nature. It dealt handily with the demands of the World Cup Downhill circuit, revelled in the rigours of enduro racing, and endured lap after lap of abuse in the bike park, while still craving more. From the race track to the bike park and everything in between, Dreadnought has proven its unparalleled versatility. Now it’s time for the big guns to get the V2 treatment. Dreadnought V2 carries the torch forward into a new realm of capability, giving riders even more firepower than ever before. We’ve taken our next-gen suspension system, seen on the class-leading Druid and Supernought, and applied it to our revered brawler of a bike. We didn’t just up the calibre, add more travel, and call it good. We overhauled every detail to refine and distill its purpose into something that exhilarates. The industry's most refined high pivot layout is now available on our 160mm Enduro/Bike Park platform. Dreadnought is a carefully concocted blend of Supernought speed and stability mixed with Druid's agility and pop. Delivering a bike that might have you reconsidering wearing a full-face helmet full-time. Wheel size configuration changes are achieved via modular dropouts. Meaningful geometry and weight bias adjustments are also be made via 27.5” +10mm, 27.5” -10mm, and 29” +10mm dropouts (available soon!). Giving riders the option to customize weight bias and handling characteristics to suit riding style or terrain type. 200mm direct brake mount included as standard. Dreadnought framekits are sold with MX and 29” dropouts. Forbideen collaborated with their factory race team and their team of test riders to gather feedback on the O.G. Dreadnought and the current V2 platform bikes. Forbidden opted for a more centered weight distribution that delivers intuitive handling in all situations and a larger rider sweet spot in the cockpit. Giving riders more confidence and comfort to trust both the bike and themselves when things get rowdy. Still the industry’s only truly proportional sizing. Our rear centerschange in proportion to our front center measurements. And while we often talk about those changes as an increase as we move up in size, we can also look at it as a decrease when we move in the opposite direction. Our S1 sports some of the smallest reach and rear center measurements of any dual 29 mtb in the enduro category. The underlying philosophy is to ensure that riders of different sizes can experience the same intended weight balance and ride characteristics of our bikes. The goal with Dreadnought V2 was to maintain its uncanny ability to absolutely plough through rough terrain while giving riders more mid-stroke support to pump and generate speed from the ground. We’ve done this without giving up any sensitivity and grip, while also improving bottom-out control and optimizing braking characteristics. Our rear centers change in proportion to our front center measurements. Zero hesitation. At the core of the Dreadnought-E is a full carbon frame built around Forbidden’s Trifecta V3 high-pivot suspension platform. With 170mm of rear travel paired to a 180mm fork, the bike delivers a predictable, planted ride that thrives in rough terrain while still offering the pop and support needed to generate speed and stay playful. A 140 mm rear and 150 mm front travel setup, equipped with a 600 watt-hour battery, weighing in at just under 46 lbs (45.9 lbs or 20.8 kg). Druid LitE is available in 3 Build kits. A 140 mm rear and 150 mm front travel setup, equipped with a 600 watt-hour battery, weighing in at just under 46 lbs (45.9 lbs or 20.8 kg). Druid LitE is available in 3 Build kits.
