We didn’t just up the calibre, add more travel, and call it good. We overhauled every detail to refine and distill its purpose into something that exhilarates. The industry's most refined high pivot layout is now available on our 160mm Enduro/Bike Park platform. Dreadnought is a carefully concocted blend of Supernought speed and stability mixed with Druid's agility and pop. Delivering a bike that might have you reconsidering wearing a full-face helmet full-time. Wheel size configuration changes are achieved via modular dropouts. Meaningful geometry and weight bias adjustments are also be made via 27.5” +10mm, 27.5” -10mm, and 29” +10mm dropouts (available soon!). Giving riders the option to customize weight bias and handling characteristics to suit riding style or terrain type. 200mm direct brake mount included as standard. Dreadnought framekits are sold with MX and 29” dropouts. Forbideen collaborated with their factory race team and their team of test riders to gather feedback on the O.G. Dreadnought and the current V2 platform bikes. Forbidden opted for a more centered weight distribution that delivers intuitive handling in all situations and a larger rider sweet spot in the cockpit. Giving riders more confidence and comfort to trust both the bike and themselves when things get rowdy. Still the industry’s only truly proportional sizing. Our rear centerschange in proportion to our front center measurements. And while we often talk about those changes as an increase as we move up in size, we can also look at it as a decrease when we move in the opposite direction. Our S1 sports some of the smallest reach and rear center measurements of any dual 29 mtb in the enduro category. The underlying philosophy is to ensure that riders of different sizes can experience the same intended weight balance and ride characteristics of our bikes. The goal with Dreadnought V2 was to maintain its uncanny ability to absolutely plough through rough terrain while giving riders more mid-stroke support to pump and generate speed from the ground. The proportionally sized, full-power e-MTB lineup we’ve all been waiting for. Available in two styles: Druid LitE and Druid CorE. Both equipped with the revolutionary Avinox drive system. A 2.52 kg (5.5 lbs) package that delivers 105 Nm of max continuous torque (120 Nm on boost), 800 W peak power (1,000 W on boost), the ability to run 600 Wh or 800 Wh batteries, and the fastest charging available on the market. Finally, a proportionally sized e-MTB that effortlessly shuttles you to the top of any climb and delivers the class-defying descending prowess you know and love from Forbidden’s high-pivot Trifecta suspension platform. A bike you’ll actually love riding down as much as you do on the way up. The burly sibling to the Druid LitE comes equipped with 150 mm of rear and 160 mm of front travel. Avinox Drive System Forbidden had plenty of time to get a lay of the land and test numerous motor systems, but ever since our first test ride of the Avinox, it was an absolute no-brainer for us. And it’s not only for the reasons you might first think. Yes, it’s fast. Yes, it’s the most powerful. But it’s when things get grim and technical that this motor really starts to shine. Thanks to its advanced hardware and software, it allows you to finesse each pedal stroke to ensure you're always getting traction. We’ve fine-tuned the rearward axle path, idler position, and kinematics (the holy trinity of ride characteristics) to deliver the best e-MTB we’ve ever ridden. The new platform also gives us more seat post insertion and allows us to neatly package the motor and battery. AXS Extension Cord Compatible Druid E builds that are specced with AXS transmission come equipped with SRAM’s AXS Extension Cord. The SRAM AXS Extension Cord connects the AXS transmission to the bike’s battery, allowing you to power the drivetrain directly without the use of an AXS battery. Carbon Rocker Link The Trifecta V3 platform features a carbon rocker link. The carbon rocker link is light, stiff, reduces unsprung mass, isolates the shock from lateral forces, and gives the bike the right amount of progressivity. 8 x 30 mm bearing hardware, top and bottom, comes as standard on all shocks. Hardware The bearing-in-rocker design of our new forged V2 Rate Control Linkage allows us to use locking collet axles and oversized bearings for easy maintenance and dependability. This option isn’t the lightest but trading a few grams for a long-lasting, easily serviced linkage, was the practical choice. Idler Pulley System Druid now sports an 18-tooth steel idler equipped with a solid lube bearing as standard. These changes, along with a refined tooth profile increase the idler’s longevity and ensure compatibility with the latest drivetrains. Our new idler, along with its modular mounting system is compatible and optimized for use with both 52mm and 55mm chain lines. Forbidden Druid V2 The Forbidden Druid was the Canadians brands first entry into the full suspension mountain bike market, and it came with a wave and an immediate cult following with its high pivot witchcraft. Now on its second iteration, Forbidden has only improved the Druid V2 to make it the Ultimate trail bike. With geometry that effortlessly balances stability and agility, the Druid is a trail bike through and through.
