Evil Bikes has been through a lot over the past couple years. They came into to fame, came out of fame and have always managed to come back and get people talking. With their unique outlook on bicycle geometry and suspension design, they did not have to try much when it came to standing out from the crowd. Evil perfectly embodies the motto of “do what you want” and each and every one of their products is a representation of this motto. Evil is here for a good time and from the amount of stoke built up around the brand, you bet they will be here for a long time. For 2018, Evil has finally introduced an almost completely revamped line-up.
Catching up with the times, Evil had redesigned their most popular bike, The Following by introducing the Following MB a couple months ago. This new version of the 29er that changed the world would now feature boost spacing and a longer feel. This stoked out a bunch of riders but left many other sitting there waiting for the other bikes to finally be updated.
The Insurgent made a name for itself as being the unicorn of the bike world. A bike that could do it all. Whether you wanted to go out for a quick pedal or ride the gnarliest DH Tracks, the Insurgent could handle it all. Fast forward 2 years, Boost spacing becomes mandatory, Pink Bike users troll over water bottles and their placement, people want bigger bikes and everyone wants some new colors! The Insurgent LB now features a Boost 12 x 148mm rear end and allows for a water bottle to be mounted inside the front triangle of the bike. Most importantly, Evil finally released a new color for the Insurgent. Yep! No more Slimeball Yellow and Black. New for 2018 is a sleek yet aggressive silver, called Freddy Mercury, and a creamy white color referred to as the Yogurt Truck.
The Wreckoning was already to date with Boost Spacing, however, it did not feature a water bottle cage. Well most did not include it… New for 2018, every Wreckoning will include a bottle cage mount. The Wreckoning LB now comes in a flashy Green color called Fallout Green and a very unique Bronze color called the Rusty Trombone…
