The Rockshox Reverb has been the most popular dropper post ever made. Ridden and loved by so many different riders. One of the major drawbacks to the original Reverb was its small remote. Rockshox has now introduced a new paddle style 1x specific remote lever for the Reverb and our customer Bryan has got his hands on one. Let's see how it rides!
When the first reverb came out and I got a chance to ride it I was amazed. It changed everything for me. Building and riding trails in the dense mountains of Vermont poses many challenges. Our terrain is constantly changing elevation and conditions. To this day, a dropper post is the single biggest improvement I have added to my bike. I no longer need to get off my bike to raise or lower my seat multiple times on a single ride. Now I am able to adjust it an infinite number of times on the fly. All my transitions have become smoother and my speed and confidence have quickly picked up. I appreciate it every single time I ride.
I was pretty happy with the original reverb; it has solid reliability but did have a couple of draw backs. The externally mounted cable got in the way sometimes and the handle bar mounted remote was small and required a lot of force to work. Though it never let me down, I was excited to see the upgraded remote and of course the stealth cable mounting on the new Reverb stealth.
The new lever is a paddle that pushes with ease. It became comfortable in my cock pit after a week of riding. I was still expecting a hard strait push every time - not anymore! The paddle is responsive and there is no lag time at all when adjusting seat positions. The stealth cable took me a little time to set up initially, but that was it, I haven't moved it since. I would highly recommend this top shelf post to anyone and I often do. If you're looking for a game changing upgrade to your bike, look no further. The Reverb Stealth, HAS ARRIVED!
