There are plenty of good reasons to put your bike in a travel bag, and All Mountain Rides keeps giving us more. We have ridden with the AMR crew in the Dolomites and Tasmania, and the combination of great trails, good food and a fun crew is exactly why we keep coming back. Our recent week in the Dolomites involved postcard backdrops, back-to-back riding days and a pretty steady supply of espresso, beers and Aperol spritz. Tough to complain about that.
For 2027, All Mountain Rides has three trips on the calendar: Peru in May, the Dolomites at the end of August and Tasmania in November. The Worldwide Cyclery crew is heading to Peru, and we would love for you to join us. AMR is also hosting its Dolomites and Tasmania adventures, giving you two more options for a week built around riding bikes somewhere pretty incredible.

Peru is the one we are packing our bike bags for. AMR’s High Andes trip explores Cusco and the Sacred Valley, mixing ancient Inca trails, rocky descents and riding through Andean villages. The trip starts with time to settle into Cusco’s altitude before heading out with local guide Roberto Pacheco. There is a lot of descending on the menu, but you will still earn some of it with your legs.
The itinerary includes Cusco trails, Huchuy Qosqo, Lares, Sacred Valley descents and riding around Maras and Moray. A free day breaks up the riding, with an optional guided Machu Picchu visit for an additional US$460, subject to availability. That is a pretty good excuse to give your brake fingers a day off.

If your ideal riding trip includes big alpine descents followed by a coffee stop with an absurdly good view, the All Mountain Rides Dolomites Trip make a very strong case. AMR bases this eight-day adventure around Corvara, using the lift network to link riding across the surrounding valleys. Think rocky alpine trails, forest singletrack and bike park laps, with mountain huts along the way.
Highlights include the Tutti Frutti trails, Pale di San Martino backcountry, Seceda, Cortina and the Sella Ronda loop. There is also a free day to rest, explore or keep riding. We get the appeal of a recovery day, but choosing to sit one out here might be the hardest decision of the week.
Dates: August 31 to September 7, 2027
Duration: 8 days
Trip fare: US$4,599 per person
Non-rider fare: US$2,299 per person
Maximum riders: 12
Start and finish: Venice, Italy
The non-rider option makes this worth a look if your travel partner wants the mountain scenery without spending every day on a bike. AMR lists accommodation, breakfasts, dinners and Venice airport transfers as part of that package.

Tasmania brings a different flavor: fern-filled forests, flowing singletrack and big granite features. AMR’s seven-day trip centers on Derby, with local guides and shuttles helping you make the most of the riding. If you like a week where the conversation at dinner turns into a debate about which trail deserves another lap, this should do nicely.
The published seven-day itinerary features Blue Derby, Blue Tier, Big Chook and the Bay of Fires ride, plus days focused on flow trails and rock slabs. There is plenty of variety, from backcountry riding toward the coast to sessions on Derby’s technical features. AMR’s guides can help match the trail choices to the group.
Dates: November 1 to 7, 2027
Duration: 7 days
Trip fare: US$4,199 per person
Maximum riders: 12
Start and finish: Launceston, Tasmania

AMR lists guiding, accommodation, scheduled transfers, riding uplifts and local taxes as included on these trips. Meals are included as specified in each itinerary, so check the daily breakdown rather than assuming every lunch or arrival-day meal is covered. International flights and alcohol are excluded, and Peru’s optional Machu Picchu excursion costs extra.
For bike choice, AMR recommends a capable full-suspension bike with around 150mm of travel front and rear. The goal is a bike you trust on long, technical descents and can still pedal uphill. Ask AMR about rental availability and costs if you would rather leave your own bike at home.
We are heading to Peru with All Mountain Rides in May 2027, and we would love to share the trails with you. With a maximum of 12 riders, it is worth reaching out early if joining the Worldwide Cyclery crew sounds like your kind of trip. Contact AMR through the Peru trip page and let them know you want to join WWC.
If the Dolomites or Tasmania fit your calendar better, contact AMR through those trip pages for booking details and availability. Pick your destination, sort out the dates and start giving that bike bag a reason to exist.
