Park Tool BBT-169 Steel Bottom Bracket / Lockring Tool

The Park Tool BBT-169 Steel Bottom Bracket / Lockring Tool is a heavy-duty 4140 steel workshop tool for removal and installation of components with 16-notch tool fittings, covering threaded bottom bracket cups, center lock disc brake rotor lockrings, and e-bike motor lockrings. The BBT-169 fits 16-notch fittings with a major diameter of 44-45mm and a minor diameter of 42.7mm, encompassing Shimano BB80, BB5700, XT BB70, BB51, and previous external bearing threaded cups, as well as cups from Campagnolo, Chris King, FSA MegaExo, Hope, SRAM/Truvativ GXP, Race Face X-type, Surly, and others. Center lock disc brake rotor lockrings and Bafang BBSH and BBS02 mid-drive motor lockrings are also within its scope, making the BBT-169 one of the broadest-application tools in the Park Tool bottom bracket range. The extra-deep body handles extra-wide spindles, low-profile walls seat into recessed lockrings, and three drive options - 3/8" drive, 1" hex, and 36mm wrench flats - address seized components across the full compatibility list. Integrated threads accept the Park Tool BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System or GPS-1 Guide Pins (each sold separately).
