Berd Hawk27 Wheels with Industry Nine Hydra Hubs

Berd’s new Hawk27 are ideal for cross country and trail racing and riding, the new Hawk27 wheels combine lightweight and vibration damping Berd spokes with 27mm internal carbon rims. The Hawk27 wheels are made entirely in North America, with Berd’s spokes being made in the USA and the carbon rim being made by We Are One Composites in Canada all wrapped around an Industry Nine Hydra hub, also made in the USA.

The Hawk27 rims are only 18mm deep, which are the lowest profile 27mm internal double-wall carbon rims ever made. This unique design yields engineered radial compliance and high lateral stiffness. The combination of vibration damping Berd spokes and our new radial compliant rim means more speed over rough terrain and less rider fatigue. With a wide 3.75 mm rim lip, Berd’s new rims spread out tire/rim impacts across a larger surface area to prevent tire damage during acute impacts. The Hawk27 wheelset is built around black Industry Nine Hydra Centerlock hubs, delivering almost instantaneous engagement and long-term reliability, along with remarkably low weight.

From a performance standpoint, the Fusion-Fiber™ material has a strength to weight ratio better than traditional carbon fiber.Because of this,Revelhas been able to make an equally, if not stronger, rim than competitors while coming in quite a bit lighter than the rest.
