RockShox Suspension Forks

RockShox has been making suspension forks longer than most of us have been riding bikes, and at this point they pretty much have a fork for every type of rider and every type of bike. Whether you're building up a lightweight XC rig, a do-it-all trail bike, or a full-send enduro machine, there's a RockShox fork that fits the bill. We stock the complete lineup and our staff rides and wrenches on this stuff constantly, so if you have questions, we actually know the answers.

Which RockShox Fork Do You Need?

The RockShox Pike is probably the most versatile fork they make. It runs from 100mm all the way to 160mm of travel, fits 27.5 and 29 inch wheels, and shows up on everything from carbon hardtails to long-travel 29ers. If you're not sure which fork to get, the Pike is almost always the right answer for trail riding. It's been the benchmark for a reason.

Step up in travel and aggression and you're looking at the RockShox Lyrik. Same internals as the Pike but with a beefier chassis built for 150-170mm of travel. The Lyrik is what you want when you're riding hard, the trails are rough, and you need a fork that isn't going to flex on you. Bigger riders especially notice the difference. Read our full breakdown of Pike vs Lyrik vs Yari if you want to get into the weeds on it.

On the XC end, the RockShox Recon and Judy are the go-to options. Light, reliable, and priced right. The Recon Silver RL in particular is one of the best budget forks on the market right now. We covered the best options under $500 in detail in this article if that's the range you're shopping in.

For the full suspension service side of things, check out our RockShox fork parts and service kits. Keeping your fork serviced makes a bigger difference than most people realize, and we stock everything you need to do it yourself.

Not sure what fork fits your bike? Wheel size, axle standard, steerer diameter, travel, offset -- there's a lot to sort out. This guide covers all of it, or just reach out to us directly. We sort out fork compatibility questions every single day.
