There's a ton of different options when upgrading your mountain bike cassette and lucky for you, we have bike nerds on staff who can help make the decision a little bit easier for you. One of the most popular MTB cassettes is the SRAM Eagle cassette. Offered in a variety of models at different price points, this 12 speed cassette is a favorite of everyone at the shop as well as our loyal customers. Another popular SRAM cassette is the SRAM 11 speed cassette. For those who haven't upgraded to Eagle yet, this is a solid chouce. If you're a Shimano person, their 12 speed drivetrain is a bit newer to market and has not been around as long as SRAM Eagle. Shimano makes their 12 speed MTB drivetrain in both the XT model and XTR, which happens to be the choice of EWS champion and Factory Yeti racer, Richie Rude. If it's good enough for him, then it's good enough for anyone.
