Nate's SB165 is set up for pure downhill bliss. Whether he's riding a wild freeride line in Utah or endless laps in Whistler, this no compromises rig is ready for the gnarliest of days. The RockShox Boxxer Ultimate up front and Super Deluxe Ultimate Coil Rear Shock keep things plush no matter the situation, and the Zipp 3Zero Moto wheels wrapped in Maxxis Assegai rubber add compliance and traction no matter the surface. His contact points are taken care of by Ergon's DH Saddle and GD1 grips, and cockpit duties are covered by Truvativ Descendant components. SRAM is on top of the stopping and going with their X01 DH kit and Code RSC Brakes, the latter of which you'll find are standard equipment on Nate's bikes. Yeti's most well rounded model, the SB140 29er is a popular choice when Nate is heading out on adventure. The 140mm travel 29er is a bike that's no slouch on the climbs and it isn't afraid of a challenging descent. Nate has built up in a burly fashion (you may be seeing a theme with how he builds his bikes) with a RockShox Lyrik running things up front and a Super Deulxe in the rear keeping things tame. Zipp 3Zero Moto wheels are on wheel duty wrapped in Maxxis rubber as per ususal. SRAM's X01 Eagle AXS Drivetrain and Code RSC Brakes propel and deccelerate the machine, respectively. RockShox' Reverb AXS Dropper Seatpost is in charge of the dropper post activities, accompanied by an Ergon saddle to keep things comfortable. Truvativ Descendant components are found on the cockpit and Ergon is trusted for the controls with their SM Pro saddle and their GD1 grips. MRP is in charge of the chain retention as usual.
Nate's SB100 isn't exactly an XC bike. When you are out adventuring, you want to be able to ride any trail you come across along the way. That is the way Nate decided to build up this bike - he can put in countless miles up in the Rockies and still be able to make it back down no matter the trail. RockShox is on suspension duty as usual, with a Silver 130mm Pike Ultimate up front and a Super Deluxe air shock in the rear. As you might suspect, Zipp's 3Zero Moto wheels are keeping it rolling with Maxxis' DHF and Aggressor tires contacting the ground. This beast is adorned with SRAM's XX1 AXS drivetrain to get up to speed and their Code RSC Brakes slow it back down. RockShox' Reverb AXS dropper post is topped with Ergon's SM Pro saddle, and Truvativ's descendant bar and stem keep things in control with Ergon's GD1 grips.
